The Origin Story
Born from the city.
Built beyond it.
The story started in Hiram Clarke on Houston's Southside: high-school friends, a garage and a business selling automotive accessories. The early focus was wheels. The vision became much larger.
Over time, 713 grew into complete vehicle design—combining paint, forged wheels, interiors, audio, lighting, suspension and performance under one concept. The address changed. The scale changed. The standard did not.

Houston's automotive identity has always been personal: slabs and classics, candy paint and chrome, oversized wheels, trunk audio, performance trucks, luxury sedans and exotics. 713 learned that language inside the culture—and helped move it forward.

2000
Hiram Clarke Roots
The 713 story begins on Houston's Southside, where high-school friends sold automotive accessories from a garage and built a reputation one relationship at a time.
Early Era
From Wheels to Full Builds
What began with wheels and accessories expanded into complete vehicles—paint, interiors, audio, suspension, lighting, performance and one visual concept.
2013
National Recognition
Complex ranked 713 Motoring No. 15 on its list of the 20 Best Custom Car Shops in America, recognizing the shop's Houston identity and range.
2014–15
H-Town Elevated
RIDES Magazine dedicated a multi-page feature to a fully transformed 713 Jeep Wrangler, taking the brand's detail and Houston swagger into print.
2017
The Rebrand
713 introduced a new identity, a contemporary Westheimer location and a broader multidisciplinary team while preserving its original Houston point of view.
2019
Built for the Show Floor
After a VoyageHouston profile, 713 earned Best Booth at DUB Magazine's inaugural Battle Grounds Houston event at NRG Center.
2020–21
A Brand That Adapted
Features in RESPECT., Medium, HotCars and DUB documented the shop's longevity, digital reach and evolution into a complete customization boutique.
2022
Legacy Through Opportunity
The Automotive Customization Skills Trade Program helped Houston youth restore a vintage Box Chevy. May 27 was proclaimed 713 Motoring Day in recognition of the effort.
2023
Hustler of the Year
A coordinated 15-car all-black fleet earned 713 Motoring the Hustler of the Year honor at Rick Ross' Promise Land Car & Bike Show.
